B&M Earns AEP Contractor Safety Award

COLUMBUS, OH – American Electric Power awarded Bruce & Merrilees its 2019 AEP Transmission Contractor Safety Award. The award recognizes companies that are developing new initiatives to improve safety. According to AEP, "These companies have established management commitments to the pursuit of Zero Harm and have performed their operational tasks in such a manner as to excel in the protection of their employees." The award acknowledges companies that have demonstrated the Zero Harm approach to injury prevention.

Bruce & Merrilees is an active participant in the AEP Transmission construction process and serves as a Prime Contractor of AEP Transmission. 

Congratulations to our Project Manager David Clemons, General Foreman Chris Gilbert, and our AEP field teams, whose commitment to safety we are proud to recognize.
